The GROW EAST CONGRESS is a project initiated and organised by Prof. Arnold Schuh, Head of the Competence Center for Emerging Markets & CEE at WU Vienna, and Dr. Manfred Berger, Partner of ICONIC Consulting & Founder of the NEUSICHT Think Tank. AuĂenwirtschaft Austria/AdvantageAustria, the international arm of the WKO (Wirtschafts- Austrian Chamber of Commerce), is our congress partner.
The main objective of this series of congresses, which was launched in 2007, is to provide insights into current developments in the emerging Europe and to shed light on the challenges that international and local companies face when expanding and competing in the CEE markets. In this way, we are helping to promote Vienna and Austria as a "knowledge hub" in CEE business and as a geographical centre of this region.
GROW EAST provides a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences between representatives of companies, academics and business students interested in the markets and economies of this region.
